Ah, the singing life. Much of my adult life has been spent as a performer of opera, classical vocal music, oratorio, and theatrical musicals. My roles on the stage run from Bloody Mary in Rogers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific to Erda the Earth Mother in Wagner’s Das Rheingold. My 
favorite role was that of Frau Peachum in the Brecht/Weill Three Penny Opera. It allowed me to be nasty in a way that is just not possible in every day life.
Roles and concerts and reviews aside, I am and will always be a musician.
